Vivo bene Villas provide the ultimate in comfort and relaxation.
The six pavilions (72 rooms)
The Pavilion buildings feature four clusters of accommodation, three rooms in each cluster, twelve rooms in all. They can be configured as either singles or doubles (32 sq. m.); two units merged to form a comfortable junior suite (64 sq. m.) or three units combined to create a private self-contained apartment (96 sq m.) Furniture is easily arranged to suit individual requirements.
Each Pavilion contains a convenient fully-equipped self-service kitchen and Espresso bar; a television room, and a spacious lounge area measuring 120 square metres, ideal for reading, relaxing or socialising. A whole Pavilion (twelve rooms) can be booked for private parties.
The Pavilion rooms provide comfortable accommodation for either holidays, long stays, or for guests requiring different levels of care. This can range from simple assistance such as getting dressed up to total care. In the latter case, the pavilion has a qualified carer on duty 24 hours.
The eight villas
Separated from the Pavilions by a small lake, four buildings each contain two elegant beautifully decorated rooms measuring 41 sq m. and 52 sq,m. respectively, Both feature a spacious en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and a 20 sq.m. terrace for relaxation or sunbathing. A comfortable sitting area facilitates relaxation, reading, or watching your favourite television channel. Standards and facilities in the villas are comparable with those of a five star hotel.
The swimming pool
Specially designed, and disability-friendly. Whether bathing or enjoying the breezes on sun beds at the water’s edge, this is a lovely location to exercise, sunbathe, doze, or meet friends for a snack, cooling drink, tea or coffee.
The wellness centre
Located in a separate building beyond the Vivo bene lake near the Villas, the Wellness Centre features an exercise room, massage room, beauty salon and a hairdressing facility. A fully equipped medical room is available here for consultations by visiting doctors, or specialists.
The Rössli restaurant
The Chef’s personally created menu offers a choice of European favourites, plus a nice variety of Thai and Asian choices. Crusty breads of all kinds are also baked here, together with pastries, cakes, and other delights such as Gipfeli (croissants) Not surprising therefore, that several local restaurants buy from here to serve to their customers!
In the morning or evening, dining is a particular pleasure outside on the terrace, where fragrances from the garden mix beautifully with the aroma of freshly prepared food. This area is often used for barbecues, special events, music, shows and entertainment.
A regular programme of activities includes exercise, yoga, meditation, Thai cooking lessons, local sightseeing, visits to art galleries, handicraft centres, and other areas of interest. Tailor-made programmes are easily arranged according to individual interests and hobbies.
